Stirring Up Shift
What do life and camping both have in common? They can be in-tense! Come along with me, Mickella, as we stir up shift, speak truth to power, and inspire others to join the efforts for sustainable and inclusive societal change whether it be through how we think about and perceive different issues or open the discussion on taboo and “controversial” topics — none are off-limits here. I may say something you agree with, disagree with, or it may be completely new to you. Whatever it may be, join the discussion and give yourself time to reflect on each. Ponder this, how does each topic impact you and your life? How do you impact each topic? If you’re not quite sure, tune in now.

#NeverAgain
Monday May 22, 2023
Monday May 22, 2023
Join in as we discuss school shootings and violence.
When enough is truly enough we’ll see meaningful change in this country, until then, every day policy and change need to be demanded instead of thoughts and prayers. #NeverAgain should young lives be taken due to school shootings. Support the movements to make sure they progress forward as students march for their lives. Not to be forgotten, this issue, also, is impacting universities. Action is needed, now, and we as a country should not settle for less for the future of our students’ lives.
Why shift?
Shifters! If you’re up for the challenge of speaking out against the backward system that we deal with in this country and stepping outside the box set by traditional paradigms, look no further as we stir up shift. Broken things need to be fixed and not ignored so we’re going to kickstart that with conversations. What makes this different from others? I won’t necessarily be holding back on the discussions and the topics. I even want to hear from you — comments, suggestions and even questions will be added to the commentary.
