Why shift?

Shifters! If you’re up for the challenge of speaking out against the backward system that we deal with in this country and stepping outside the box set by traditional paradigms, look no further as we stir up shift. Broken things need to be fixed and not ignored so we’re going to kickstart that with conversations. What makes this different from others? I won’t necessarily be holding back on the discussions and the topics. I even want to hear from you — comments, suggestions and even questions will be added to the commentary.

Currently, used as a political buzzword to describe an education movement, critical race theory has taken on a life of its own since it’s formation in the 1980s from earlier origins in the 1960s and ‘70s.
